Advisory Board
The Advisory Board is constituted to guide the team of SKF from time to time in taking forward the mission of SKF and execution of action programmes. The Advisory Board members are experts in various fields of development.
  • Dr. Rabindra Ku. Mohanty, OES (I) is an eminent Sociologist, completed his Post-Doctoral Research from University of Nottingham, UK as a Commonwealth Fellow. He has distinctive record of teaching in different colleges of repute in the state of odisha including BJB (Autonomous) College and Ravenshaw University, before he joined Biju Pattanaik State Police Academy as Reader in Sociology.
     
  • Dr. Bhubanananda Swain, Ph.D. from Central Rice Research Institute (CRRI), Cuttack, Utkal University is a plant protection expert. He has served as Dy. Director of Agriculture, Puri and Nodal Officer, Plants at Sonepur before his retirement from Govt. of Odisha as Director, Orissa State Seeds & Organic Production Certification Agency (OSSOPCA). He is associate member of International Competence Centre for Organic Agriculture (ICCOA), Bangalore. Currently he is consultant to Rastriya Krishi Vikash Yojana (RKVY), Govt. of Orissa. 
     
  • Dr. Rumjhum Ray Choudhuri, an expert in community health and social development holds her Ph.D. in Anthropology. She has more than 30 years of distinct experience and expertise in social impact assessment, resettlement and rehabilitation planning, monitoring and evaluation of projects, institutional capacity building, and gender studies; in the sectors like community health, municipal reform, infrastructure, roads and highways, water supply and water resource management, sanitation, rural and urban development etc. She has worked for various Government Departments and funding agencies like European Commission, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, KfW, Japan Bank for International Cooperation, UNICEF and Ford Foundation. 
     
  • Dr. Siba Prasad Panda, Environmentalist, holds his Ph. D in Environmental Science from Utkal University. He has distinct experience of working in NGOs, Educational Institutions & Corporate Houses and has received awards from Govt. of India and International Institutions.
     
  • Er. Basant Kumar Das, an IITian is expert in promoting industrial clusters. A long associated Govt. employee has distinct experience and expertise in the field of Cluster Development in UNIDO model.
     
  • Prafulla Ratha, a Post Graduate in Economics with proven track record of working in different International NGOs and UN agencies. A Disaster Management Expert, well educated in HAP and SPHERE standard/Guideline. 
     
  • Ms. Aparna Mohanty, a Gold Medalist, Post Graduate in Psychology from Utkal University, possesses a brilliant academic record. As a Clinical Psychologist, she is rendering services to the people by associating her with Health department, Govt. of Odisha. 
     
  • Ms. Anusuya Jena is a Social Scientist, expert in child rights and gender & development issues. She has distinct experience in both Research & Development for innovating new models. She is also designated as the Director of SKF to manage the project affairs.
