Project Swachh: SKF has been partnered with Kriday Realty Pvt. Ltd. (A subsidiary of TATA Housing) to undertake different activities in the peripheral villages of Sankarpur Mauza in Bhubaneswar Block. In this connection SKF has renovated school toilets of Primary schools of Tamando, Ghatikia and Nuagaon villages along with construction of small water tanks.

 

Water & Sanitation: Safe and clean drinking water is still remained as a distance dream to rural people in remote areas and the situation becomes worse during rainy season. Moreover, open defecation is a common practice in rural areas till today, which is a major cause of diseases and contamination of water. IEC activities like walling, booklets, pamphlets and posters etc prepared and used in the project areas to spread mass awareness among the rural mass. 

Mobile health camp: Scarcity of health facilities by the Government in comparison to the population and lack of sanitation system have worsened the lives of the people in the rural areas. During severe epidemics the rural mass does not know the preventive measures and suffers a lot. SKF is conducting Health Camps every year in its project areas with help of volunteers and doctors for providing health services to the people in need.
